Setting the tension and stop points on manual MCD shades just got easier. In the newest state-of-the-art American Duo^® Day/Night Shade systems for recreational vehicles, MCD has added easy-to-turn consumer-friendly adjustment wheels. You may select where you want the shade to stop at the top every time they utilize the tug-and-release motion to raise their shades. For example, someone may want the entire shade, including the metal hem rail, to be completely hidden from view under their valance.

This is easily done by turning the gray adjustment wheel counterclockwise. Conversely, if they want the shade to stop at a lower point every time, they can turn the same wheel clockwise. Easily set the stop point, this consumer-friendly system also allows for changing the speed at which the shade raises. The system, with GlideRise IV™ Technology, allows the shade to roll up at the same speed every time it is released. If a customer would like the shade to roll up faster, they may turn the black adjustment wheel clockwise. If they would like to slow the rise, they would simply turn the wheel counterclockwise.
