MCD Customers Enjoy Fellowship at the Factory
As the weather cools down in Texas and the snowbirds return from the north to their winter retreats, the MCD service lot has become very active. Typically the spring and fall are the busiest times of the year for the MCD installation techs and this year is no exception. The MCD sites are full and friendly RVers are making acquaintances and enjoying fellowship as they wait for their RVs to become retrofitted with MCD American Duo® Day/Night Roller Shades.
MCD has been at its current location just over two years and has increased its capacity to 12 service sites, all with 50 amp power. MCD also provides WiFi to help folks keep in touch with friends and family. Customers can stay with their RV as it gets measured for shades and after the shades are manufactured, when they are installed. Once in a site, you do not have to move. All the installation is conveniently done at that site.
To introduce customers to each other and to MCD, a factory tour is provided Monday afternoon. Customers are taken into the heart of MCD where the shades are cut, assembled and tested before installation. A question and answer period will follow the tour. Monday evening, weather permitting, MCD provides a happy hour complete with beer and wine and customers typically contribute some snacks to munch on. It is a great get together where everyone on the lot learns a little bit about their neighbor. The good news is, when the happy hour is over, your only steps away from your home!
